Rahi has made a strategic decision to join forces with Wesco. As a valued customer, I wanted to be sure to reach out to you first with this news. The press release referenced here provides additional details on the acquisition of Rahi.

Wesco International, Inc. (www.wesco.com) is a leading provider of business-to-business distribution, logistics services and supply chain solutions. Wesco offers a product and services portfolio of Electrical and Electronic Solutions, Communications and Security Solutions, and Utility and Broadband Solutions. Rahi and Wesco decided to join forces as we saw a common approach to core business foundations – Customers First, Ingenuity, Integrity, Culture – and truly supporting our customers on their global growth, digitization and transformation efforts.

This combination brings a number of significant benefits to our customers and partners. Rahi now has access to a larger portfolio of products and services, which gives each customer more options for their data center, IT, A/V and cloud needs. Together, both Rahi and Wesco can provide products, services and supply chain logistics and have broader coverage across the globe through the combined number of locations. With greater global reach, we can now offer even more solutions and services in new regions.

We will continue to stay the course with new solution sales, active engagements, and service delivery. We will continue to identify new ways to help our customers and partners achieve success through the solutions we provide today, and we firmly believe this new phase for Rahi will lead to even better outcomes for you.

For the past ten years, Rahi has been on a journey with our customers and partners, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with each of you as we enter the next phase of expansion, growth and continued customer commitment.

We expect closing to occur sometime in the fourth quarter subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. In the meantime, it is “business as usual” for both companies. Until formal announcement of the closing of the transaction, all parties must operate and make decisions as completely separate and independent entities.
